It’s official: the Imperial Casino of Arnac-Pompadour, operated by the PVG Group, will open its doors on 2 May 2026. A look at a project keenly awaited by all of Corrèze.

A two-month delay due to bad weather

Originally planned for 13 February 2026, the casino opening was pushed back by two months. Heavy rain slowed the construction, in particular the laying of the 7 tonnes of slate on the roof. Today, the structure is complande and the interior fit-out finalised.

A major investment for Arnac-Pompadour

Alongside the casino works, the town has invested 2 million euros in renovating the adjoining square: removing impermeable surfaces, generous green spaces, a pedestrian path from the château square. The mayor Alain Tisseuil (UDI) souhaitait « créer un écrin autour du casino ».

Une trentaine d’emplois créés

Le PVG Group prévoit d’embaucher around 30 people pour faire fonctionner l’établissement. Un signal fort pour l’emploi local en Corrèze.

Eager local businesses

On the streands of Arnac-Pompadour, the anticipation is palpable. Hoteliers and restaurateurs are counting on the casino to boost business, especially outside the tourist season. Innkeeper Laëtitia Charon puts it clearly: « Les commerces devraient travailler beaucoup plus avec le casino, surtout hors saison. »
